Our History
The West Australian Riichi Mahjong Association is an organisation that brings together players of all skill levels to enjoy a game that is both challenging and fun.
Founded in 2023, we has quickly grown to several locations across the state, giving players easy access whether they are based North or South of the river.
Our members range from players just starting out, to world championship competitors meaning there's a table for just about everyone. We welcome players from all walks of life who want to challenge themselves and make new friends.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be the premier Riichi Mahjong club in Australia, known for our welcoming community, high-quality events, and commitment to growing the game.
We aim to foster a love for riichi mahjong in our members and in the wider community, and to help establish Perth as a hub for riichi mahjong in Australia.
